Funded hours
Funded hours are free. You never have to pay anything to take up your child’s funded hours.
- Working parents, from 9 months to school age: up to 30 hours a week for 38 weeks a year. Apply at childcarechoices.gov.uk and give us your 11-digit code. You must reconfirm your code every three months.
- Two year olds whose families receive certain benefits: 15 hours a week for 38 weeks a year. Apply through Wirral Council.
- All three and four year olds: 15 hours a week for 38 weeks a year, from the term after their third birthday. There is nothing to apply for; we claim it for you.
Funding starts the term after your child becomes eligible. Terms start on 1 September, 1 January and 1 April. Hours can be taken in term time or stretched across the year.
Food and consumables
The charge for food and consumables is your choice. If you do not want to pay it, tell the Manager. Your child gets the same meals and care either way. Please bring nappies, wipes and sun cream for your child.
Extra help
Some children also qualify for Early Years Pupil Premium or the Disability Access Fund. Please ask us. If fees are ever difficult, please speak to Kerry in confidence.
