I opened Little Rainbows for my youngest daughter, Grace. I wanted a place where she and other children would be cherished as individuals, well looked after, and able to learn social, emotional and early academic skills through play. Nearly twenty years on, that is still what we are here for.
Ofsted has judged us Outstanding at our last two inspections, in January 2018 and July 2023. At our most recent inspection, on 26 July 2023, we were Outstanding in every area. The inspector found that:
Children thrive in a well-planned and fully inclusive setting, and learn through play
The curriculum is rich and ambitious, and all children make exceptional progress
Children’s behaviour is exemplary, and they show kindness and concern for each other
Children with special educational needs and disabilities are very well supported
Partnerships with parents are excellent

We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, all year round. We offer half days (8am to 1pm or 1pm to 6pm) and full days (8am to 6pm).
We are members of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) and the Early Years Alliance, and we are committed to continually improving our nursery for the benefit of our children.
